The main focus of the company is research, development & commercialization of rapid diagnostic bioassays and detection instruments; for the clinical, veterinary, agricultural and biodefense markets.

Accacia's core competency is based on solid or liquid phase bimolecular detection utilizing proprietary Reflectance (R), Fluorescence Intensity (FI) and Fluorescence Polarization (FP) technologies. Antibody detection and DNA/RNA aptamer technologies also form a critical part of our product development. We pride ourselves in accomplishing product development through independent as well as collaborative research. Strategic alliances between Accacia and its partners, including corporate, governmental & academic research organizations have been successfully developed and continue a healthy partnership.

A team of highly qualified experts in science, engineering and management, are associated with the company as employees and consults. Accacia has a Scientific & Technical Advisory Committee consisting of distinguished scientists from universities & industry, both from the US & internationally. Corporate governance is administered by a highly experienced management team.

Accacia International Inc. has successfully spun-off Accacia Serum Products Inc. an independent biodiagnostic company, which specializes in evaluation of new diagnostic assays and instruments for clinical diagnostics, bio-banking of clinical specimens from all over the globe, and manufacturing of calibrators and controls. Accacia Serum Inc. has locations in India , Uganda , Tanzania , Ghana , Argentina and Mauritius .
